I've loved the detective since i first saw my first version of 'Baskervilles' way back in the day when mom would watch 'Masterpiece Theatre' as it was hosted by Dianna Rigg (if you know what i'm talking about then you're just as nerdy as i am, lol). This carried through all the stories/books, the radio dramas from the 30's, and every movie version i could get my hands on.
'Course it's weird seeing the character everywhere now that there are new movies and a tv show on BBC, but you wont catch me complaining, lol. I thought i was obsessed with the character before, man, i had no idea how good it could get.
The finale of season 2 of 'Sherlock' premiering here in the US last night prompted me to acknowledge how awesome it is that the character is in the limelight in such a big way. And to say that i have little to no faith in the American adaptation for TV that is in the works right now. I'm willing to be proven wrong, but don't see that happening.
So i have been and will remain 'Sherlocked'
